Textile Arts, Crafts Knitting & Stitching

was the brainchild of three friends who saw a need for an independent craft club which embraces all sorts of handicrafts. The first meeting was in November 2007 since when the club has gone from strength to strength. There has been added another very hard working and practical friend to the working party although we have many other members who tackle a great deal of the work and keep the wheels well oiled for meetings

The objective of the club is to promote and encourage textile arts, crafts, knitting, stitching and many other associated activities.

As well as arranging for outside speakers to visit our meetings, we put together a programme for each year which includes contributions from members, the idea being that we all have an opportunity to share our skills with other members.

Meetings take place on first Saturday of each month, except for August, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Meopham Village Hall, Wrotham Road, Meopham, Kent DA13 0AT
